Bio: Stargazer was born of a nightwing father named Truthseeker and seawing mother named Manta during a war. Once his father was found to be 'cavorting with inferior races', Manta was killed. After this, Truthseeker threw himself into his work, only able to handle the grief he felt through it. However, Stargazer was left to his own devices, mourning for his mother on his own while being relentlessly picked on and bullied by other nightwings for his mother being not only a seawing, but also killed for simply existing as such. Eventually, the young hybrid began to grow angry to hide the pain he'd felt. When his father came home one day, smiling, he found himself more angry, just lashing out at him, blaming him for Manta's death and the following loneliness Stargazer felt. Truthseeker, having been just as grief-stricken, couldn't help but feel guilty at learning just how bad a state his son was in and tried to comfort him to no progress.

A few weeks later, Stargazer was called to dinner and once he got there, he noticed that Truthseeker had a wing wrapped around a female nightwing. Instantly, Stargazer went into overdrive, panicking, trembling, even breathing heavily. He didn't *know* this nightwing, but he felt so petrified after the relentless days during his grief. This female, however, seemed to get a look of concern on her face, gently shaking the wing of Stargazer's father off before going closer to him, trying to calm him while Truthseeker was too stunned to do anything. She lightly moved to put a talon on the dragonet's shoulder only for him to jump back, growling and taking off abruptly. Later in the night, he was sought out by his father, who looked sheepish, guilty, and uncertain. His father spoke quietly with him, explaining how he himself had gone through the grief of Manta's death, how he'd blamed himself for a long time, and how they'd tried to hide her for so long. At the end of this talk, Truthseeker stood, holding his talon out to his son. Eventually Stargazer, eyes red from crying, still shaking, slowly took it, getting up. Once they were both upright, Stargazer sighed as his father took off and he followed him back.

Once the returned, Stargazer, still quiet, walked close to what was left of the meal. The female nightwing tilted her head, having that same concerned look. At first, Stargazer had taken it for pity, but now, he knew it was just concern at another dragon's despair. He stood there before her before slowly beginning to eat. Once he'd finished, the awkward silence finally lifted as the female nightwing introduced herself finally as Bloodmoon. She was a peculiar dragon now that he was really observing her. She seemed to be a pure nightwing, but she had red claws, horns, and in her wings. In any case, she actually seemed kind, not near as judgmental as the other nightwings. In fact, the fact that she was actually worried about a hybrid like himself actually had him double guessing.

About a year later, they'd grown to become close, Stargazer eventually beginning to see Bloodmoon as a mother. She'd had an egg with Truthseeker, and right then, Stargazer was staring intently at it as it shook and glowed. It was a beautiful egg, black as the night and covered in star-like dots. As it got closer to hatching, he found himself more and more curious and excited to meet his younger sibling. The day that his sibling finally began to hatch, Stargazer called for both Truthseeker and Bloodmoon who were beside the egg just as it finally hatched. The three stood there, the two older nightwings staring with bated breath, and Stargazer having a look of awe as the tiny dragonet first poked his snout outside the shell, and then slowly scrambled out. As the small creature flailed his wings for balance, Stargazer gasped and whispered, "His wings. They're like constellations!" And like that, the adults had decided to name the hatchling 'Constellation.'
