"Young Baraka was born into the Oasis that Timon and Pumbaa once called home, but his family, formerly wanderers, took the place as their own, since the place had been abandoned since the former owners had long since moved to the Pridelands. Baraka grew up in the beautiful oasis, unaware of the world beyond it. One day, a lioness, bringing a daughter with, moves in. While Baraka is confused at first, he decided not to worry and was happy to have a new friend, in the daughter, named Laini. They eventually fall for each other as they grow up and become mates. At some point, the Prince of the neighboring lands, named Kopa, is found and brought to the Oasis, heavily injured. Baraka allows the Prince to stay once he shares his backstory and what happened, as he decides its for the best to give the scared cub shelter. A few days later, Lalita births a single daughter, named Ajali. Baraka decides to betroth Ajali to Kopa, as to not only ensure Kopa's safety, but to also secure his future. Kopa and Ajali do eventually become close friends, to close mates, after Kopa fights a rogue who wanted Anisa as his own. Satisfied, Baraka steps down and lets his daughter and Kopa take over. Eventually, once the threat of the Outlanders dies down, Baraka accompanies Kopa back to his birthhome, the Pridelands. He meets Simba and Nala, who thank him for protecting Kopa and giving him a home. While they are sadden Kopa doesn't want to stay in the Pridelands, Baraka tells them they are welcome to visit the Oasis and that the pride would welcome them with open arms. With things taken care of, Baraka enjoys retirement with his mate and helps advise Kopa and Ajali during their rule, and often babysitting his three grandchildren."
