Theme
In the Androgynous Dark
Personality: Unintentionally ominous, Gentle, Nurturing, Protective, Shy, Scared of crowds
Likes: Children's screams (of fun!), Swimming, Making people smile
Dislikes: Other people drowning
Design Notes:
- Coat is inspired by the blue roan coat of horses; Boggy's is a dark blue-grey with faint light dapples and faint blue highlights
- Mane and tail are made of the seaweed Grateloupia turuturu
- Is skeletally thin like an extremely malnourished horse (a healthy weight for corpses)
- Can shapeshift their size to be about twice the size of an adult mothcat to the size of an actual horse
- No normal horse mouth; when jaw is closed, they look like they have no mouth
- Lower jaw is secret and tucks seamlessly into the bottom of the horse head; big ol' horse lip hides the fangs
- Mouth splits back all the way to the cheekbone
- Mouth can open up to a 150' degree angle like a snake (great for scooping up throngs of babies struggling in the water)
- Has cracked hooves
- Eyes are just white light
- Remember the sparkly heart-shaped nose!
Character Notes:
- Is mute; only makes horse noises, and even then only rarely
- Never strays far from bodies of water
- Their seaweed mane and tail are how they breathe
- Can swim up to speeds of 74kmh/46mph but doesn't move all that good on land; just kind of... tiptoes around on gangly legs
