Despite his name, Snail is an extremely fast swimmer. He enjoys surfacing like a dolphin to see how high he can get before gravity catches up to him. Snail cannot fly due to his wings being badly mangled at hatching. He cannot fully extend them and they will not carry his weight no matter how much the healers were able to rebuild his wings. He refuses to see anyone anymore due to the staring, pitying looks and teasing. The only one who ever caught his attention long enough was a (currently unnamed) Nightwing. They had a child together, but circumstances forced them apart and he's not seen his daughter since she was a few weeks old.
