Design Notes

• A long, slender creature in all aspects. Elegant and graceful.
• Eyes are simply yellow; no pupils or other details.
• Round feet. Can have three or four toes, does not matter.
• Wings can be drawn unkempt with long seperate feathers [preffered] or thick and neat. Whatever works for your style is fine.
• Her feathers are tattered and have small tears. Feathers are also shimmery! but this effect can be omitted.

About

Not much is known about her. She spent a fair portion of her life in confinement/caged and her personality was repressed. She is cautious, fearful, defensive, flightly, and anxious. She fears metal, stark white/silver places, and large crowds, but is often too defeated/tired to fight back.
Very much not a fighter. Will always choose to flee or hide if given the chance, or yield if it saves her life. She will push her body to the limit, flying for hours or days at a time to make it to a safe place.
Those that have spent time with her discribe the dragon as 'emotionless' simple because they can not get a read on her. She yields too easy, gives no indication of whats inside, and just appears as a hollow, broken creature.

Trivia

• Shōka is the proper way to write her name with the long o, but a u has been substituted for ease of pronunciation.
• 消夏 Translates to Summering, for her warm/bright coloration. The indiviual parts, mean extinguished/extinct and summer respectively, symbolizing her harsh and fleeting life and the ephemeral nature of the season itself.
• 16' and 307 lbs, she very is underweight and light for her size.
• Spends a lot of time very, very high in the sky. This species has been seen in the stratosphere. Body is designed to deal with low oxygen and pressure. When grounded she lives on tall mountains and towering tree tops far away from other creatures.
• Feathers contain miracle poperties conveted by others (Regeneration? Rebirth? Enhancement?). These properties have caused the species to be hunted to near extinction.
• A very light sleeper and does not sleep often.
• Walks on four legs, light on her feet.
