X-507 is an android girl developed by a shady tech company in cooperation with a government entity. What the government wanted her for is unclear. What is clear is that they had intended on deactivating her due to her quirks - in particular, her social anxiety and overly-curious demeanor. After she escaped from her captors, she began living with Stella, and eventually Rita, in the city.
When offered the chance to become a magical girl, X declines, but supports Rita in her endeavors the best she can.
