Nicky suffers from severe anxiety and has a hard time speaking let alone meeting people. She spent most of her time at home, living with their parents. one of their first real friends was Layna, She of course introduced herself to Nicky. They met on the beach, Layna's home and Nicky's favorite place as it was usually deserted. later on Layna managed to get Nicky out of their comfort zone and got him to meet Kodiak and Biscuit. Recently they formed a close friendship with Trina, but are still intimidated by Skylar.

Nicky and Kodiak are in a romantic relationship after being close friends for several years.
