Rizu

Rizu is a corrupt royal of the Avox Empire. After zirs siblings mysterious passing, ze would be next in the throne. Rizu is constantly pressure to continue zirs family’s legacy of bloodshed, slavery, and conquering; while the empire’s inhabitants has hope that ze will end the tyrannical past of the kingdom. With the false hope of change, the citizens and slaves feed Rizu’s ravenous ego while zirs family shapes zir into zirs ancestors mold; twists zir into a monster worse than zirs ancestors.

Rizu was locked away in the palace due to the problems from royal inbreeding and was older than zirs sibling, but zirs sibling was next to the throne. All of the Empire makes rumors about why their prince is hiding in the tower. Some say Rizu was imprisoned for wanting to change society for the better, others say he can’t walk or was born with no scales, and others say Rizu is too weak and/or ugly so the royals hide zir away to keep their image as the most powerful empire on the planet. Some hysterics claim to have seen the hidden royal and are never seen again.

Rizu is genderless like all royals, but uses ze/zir/zirs pronouns. Ze cannot grow muscle and struggles to grow and maintain fat due to inbreeding, but a very talented speaker and expert manipulator like zirs parents. Ze has severe asymmetry and is blind in one eye due to an infection, so ze covers half of zirs face with zirs long wavy hair. Ze also has severe immune system problems that keep zir locked away in the palace in fear ze would die from a common cough, as well as hemophilia. Zirs sibling is an albino with club talon and immune system problems, which isn’t as bad as Rizu’s.
