A demon who gravitates towards abused/neglected/sad children and stays with them until they're no longer needed, The Black Cat can be seen by anyone with a good heart. Those who are evil in any way, shape, or form cannot percive them, which makes it easy to exact revenge on them if need be.

Al though they gravitate towards children, they also have a small collection of animals of all sorts who have been in a similar boat, caring for them and at times, pairing one with a child who both needs a constant companion and can now take care of them.

When a child they watched over dies, either through tragic circumstances, or after living a full life, The Black Cat will be there to escort them to their afterlife.

Their smaller form is used most often for the children, masquerading as simply a stray cat. They will use their larger form if they feel it's needed to provide more security, and at times to provide warmth. Both forms are covered in silky fur that seems to shed off moisture. The larger form, able to do more damage...does just that. Abusers and neglectful parents and guardian are at their mercy.
