Darcey Lynn

Darcey's family have been pokemon ranchers for generations. However, they only just recently learned that long ago, Darcey's great grandfather had a falling-out with the rest of his family, and cut off contact. Her immediate family has just discovered family they didn't know they had- cousins from great grandpa's disowned side of the family. The families are now on great terms and getting to know each other. Unfortunately, their cousins recently admitted they weren't doing great financially, and may have to close their own ranch. Darcey volunteered herself to move to their cousin's ranch to help out, and has since moved to the Sunny Lands region.

She found that their cousins had inherited the original Lynn family ranch, which was specifically designed to care for water pokemon! The ranch itself is completely land-locked, equipped only with tanks and pools. There is a large stretch of open land for sale behind them though, that eventually connects to a beach. Buying it and extending the ranch closer to the ocean would give them easier access to injured wild aquatic pokemon and release rehabilitated ones. It isn't possible in their current financial state, let alone hiring on the needed help. But Darcey is one more set of hands to help out, and hopefully keep the ranch afloat.

Darcey loves working at the ranch, but in her spare time, loves watching Pokemon Surfing tournaments. She dreams of visiting the ocean with her partners and becoming a surfing champion herself one day. Ironically, she's never been to a beach before moving to Sunny Lands, nor yet knows how to surf. She's trying to pick it up, but remains so busy there's little time to do so.
