Samir Alkaabi
A guy that was inspired from the Lupin III universe, though doesn't necessarily mean he's integrated to it. I really like his style and probably the OC I've been drawing seriously the most, haha.

People often consider Samir being very smart, and basing on his appearance and way of talking, this young man inspires respect. "Smart", not necessarily meaning he is good at everything he does but he was educated in a way he could develop is capacity of rapid analysis and having deduction, being correct most of the time. He never neglect a single detail even if it seems insignificant.
Apart from that, he's still quite sociable, even if he's often lost in his thoughts. His calm personality makes him a likable person and because of this he is well surrounded and always has someone to rely on. He is very respectful towards others, whoever they are, but he can have difficulty if he considers that person bad.
He is not one to reveal his game immediately and prefers to wait for the right moment. He likes the element of surprise, surely being inspired by the many detective novels he has read. These novels have greatly inspired his point of view on crimes and unfortunately he forgets the psychological side of a crime and does not necessarily try to understand why the criminal has acted this way. This point of view of 'good and bad' is seen by others as a rather naive way of thinking.

He spent his childhood living with his mother (and sisters, and on Earth) and just knowing that his father was gone but not dead, but his mother doesn't talk about him a lot, but he just kept living with the fact he would probably never know his father. He was used to read some books when he wasn't playing with his friends, and got a taste for detective novels like Agatha Christie's ones, often trying to find who could be the culprit before it could be revealed. At the time he wasn't really considering to become a detective or someone working with the law, he mostly wanted to do medical studies.
However as he grew older, he felt the need to know more about his father, and decided to search for his identity. During those researches he realized how thrilled he was when he was trying to retrieve information and building connections between the hints. Dropping his medical studies and after a bachelor's degree in criminal justice (4 years), he worked as a police officer at first, working for about 4 years in the field.
About his father, he dropped the search after discovering a letter of his in destination to his mother, talking about 'leaving this world', assuming that he committed suicide. Although he kept the letter for the logo that was printed on it, hoping to find something more about his life.
Then after some time, a private detective noticed his skills and decided to make him his apprentice. It was with her that they discovered a passage to an alternate universe after tracking down a huge drug trafficking after working on a case that was supposed to be small. Samir spotted a logo similar to the one present on his father's letter and followed them without second thought, finding himself stuck in the universe of Alkahr (aka world where Olives and all live in). He decided to keep it together and investigate on this world, where the laws were slightly different. Finally a year later, at this age of 33, and getting used to the laws and people there, he decided to create his agency to make it official. He wanted to find an associate as well, but he gained on the way a reputation of a fool, despite being well seen and respected, making the task harder.
Finally he met Winston Barnes volunteering with vague reasons, but they ended up getting along and working together. But he seeks to get out of this world as well to join his family and reassure them, that's when he remembered about the traffickants but they refuse to bring him back, feeling that he would talk about what happened and preferred to take no risks.
Later on, when they were working on a case involving a disparition of a man that was last seen as a patient in a hospital, he met for the first time Azure. Nothing really happened there, although she had been a great helping hand and it allowed them to move forward with their investigation. It was when he bumped into her at the library some time later that they got to discuss, and know eachother a bit more. Their meetings became more frequent after this either at the library or at a coffee shop, appreciating eachother's company, until Samir admitted his feelings for her. She then joined them and worked as a forensic pathologist. He would say that her encounter made his life in this world a bit better. They even got married.
- ● His main inspiration is Sherlock Holmes, he even subconsciously copied his style. Though, he hates to be called a 'Sherlock wannabe', since his has his own methods.
- ● He really enjoy coffee as it's his main source of gaining energy. Else he barely sleeps. It happens that Azure is reproaching him about this, to which he agrees.
- ● Often found to be sleeping in the Agency, meaning on the sofa or on the desk. His flat is barely used.
- ● Despite being sociable, sometimes crowds and big events are not his cup of tea.
- ● He loves jazz and ragtime, something he mainly plays on piano, though he doesn't own one, he just go in one of those bars with a piano but it's rare he goes there for that.
Azure He's been dating her for a while and now is her husband, and really enjoy her presence. Whenever he can, he would visit her at the hospital since she's a nurse there. And Azure is often checking on him to make sure everything's alright. They're often spending their time at the library or going to a coffee shop, in the morning.
Winston His associate, very often around him but sometimes can be nowhere to find. He was the only one volunteering to be his associate. Those two are literally the opposite, and often not one the right wavelength but strangely get along over time.
