Profile

Kay Lee Bronzemane was born to a traditional family of Karahum. She was born shortly after her family moved from Nieve to Mayson due to her dad's growing business. The Bronzemane family has always been proud and noble when it comes to their heritage, and Kay Lee was raised to believe that too. Her traditional upbringing would be shifted completely, as with the advent of technology, she was raised with the internet. Having more free time than her parents, she was able to quickly master it before her parents even knew what could be found on there. And with this, at the young age of 8 years old, she was exposed... to anime.

Her addiction grew fast. She would play pretend as a magical boy, or make cardboard armor to mimic the brave female Koroblin warriors she saw on the screen. Her passion quickly grew to the point where she began to draw in the styles that she saw on the screen. She developed a Deviantart account, which started off quite small and low-quality, as many beginning artists do. As she looked around for art that she liked, she noticed a lot of Japanese people posting art, and as she saw this she had a revelation: She could learn Japanese! Not only would that make her able to understand her new cross-world friends, but it would also make it a lot easier to watch anime.

Her skills with language grew very quickly, as did her talent for art. She developed quite a following from two worlds, as she was able to communicate to both Japanese and English speaking audiences. Her parents quickly noticed her choice of skill and pass time, and scolded her often for it. Art isn't seen as strong to the Karahum, and the ability to know multiple languages is useless unless they are English and Karahum. Her parents would scold her and guilt her about this a lot, even to the point where she had her computer taken away on one fateful day.

She was devastated, denied the chance to say goodbye to her internet friends. She begrudgingly agreed to do menial work for her dad's construction company during this fateful time. She still practiced her drawing whenever she could, but was unable to watch anime or post art anywhere. She would start writing fanfiction about the anime characters that she grew to love. This went on for about a year, until she had saved up enough money to buy art supplies! She didn't settle for anything cheap, either. She ordered a bunch of Japanese art supplies, including a tablet. Using this tablet, she was able to get back on Deviantart, but she had to start a brand-new account. She still hasn't gotten back all of the watchers that she had before.

Her parents found out about her secret buying under their nose, and they were mad at first. This rage ended fast, however, as they began to understand her devotion to this whole "anime" thing. While she had definitely been acting against her parent's will, they were proud of her ability to save up so much money on her own. They decided to reward this by not taking away her supplies, and allowing her to continue as she wished. This didn't stop her parents from continuing to bother her about "the family" and "the Bronzemane Way", but at least she could continue her passion. She had lots of anime to catch up on.

She spent the next year binging and catching up on all of the anime that she missed during her one year hiatus. This return is what solidified her obsession. She began posting her art and fanfictions, and she was quickly growing in popularity. This made her realize just how much she not only loved anime, but also loved making art to show the internet.

And this brings us to the present...
