Miyako is a rare case of a child born from relations between a Daemon and a mortal. Her mother died giving birth to her, and due to it's proximity to the shroud (a sheild covering the open fissure into hell) she was rescued by some monks from the Gādianshuraudo Monastery. The monks believed that they were fated to find her, and that she would surely be the key to ending their constant battle in holding back the Daemonic Forces. Thus, they raised her as one of their own, and trained her in martial arts and how to channel magic power into fighting. When Silver and her crew travel to the Monastery to petition the Monks for help, Miyako is the one to show them around and teach them about the Monastery and it's role. She's a cocky and self-centered child, but she's also extremely loyal and committed to her duty as a Monk.
