 If daydreaming was an occupation, Jemima would be a first class employee. She loves space, astrology and anything to do with it, discussing the stars is the easiest way to get her to focus. She will constantly imagine up adventures (99% of the time in space) with her plushy friend Nova (who can come to life in these daydreams), even when she's supposed to be concentrating on something else entirely. When she is called out and asked what she is doing, she will always reply with "I'm stargazing" even if it's the middle of the day and there isn't a window in sight.

Despite her complete lack of concentration, Jemima is able to hold up very well in studies, thanks to her other hobby of reading, meaning she can research what she was supposed to have learnt that day. She helps out at the library in her spare time for pocket money, and can be found at the observatory or on a high hill on a clear night to look at the stars.

The love of space began around a year ago when Jemima found a hand telescope that had been left in the library. After nobody picked it up several weeks later, she took ownership of it and quickly became interested in space. A few days later the owner returned to the library, and Jemima returned the telescope, but he had already bought a better replacement so he let her keep it. The telescope wasn't all that good, so now she is saving up for a more powerful one, though she will likely keep the old one as a memento.
