Annabelle "Belle" Daucus

Annabelle "Belle" Daucus is a regular rabbit beastman in Anima City. Like most beastmen, Belle faced hardships before Anima City with constant fear and hiding with her family in human-populated areas. However, her family soon found their way to the exclusion zone, where she lived relatively safe and peaceful. Due to her parents' successful science background, Belle lived a comfortable life and never had to have any fears, which ultimately spoiled her a bit. Along with the scientific background, Belle's parents were devout Ginrou worshippers who would affect Belle. They had similar beliefs and saw Ginrou as a figure to protect all beast-man, good or bad. However, as Belle grew up, she would tone her beliefs down, especially when she heard her parents discussing their fears of the Silver Wolf Order and questioning their beliefs.
After attending college and working on understanding what field she wanted to go into, Belle would run into Shirou when he was out on a case. Belle, primarily sticking close to the other rabbit and smaller beastmen, was terrified of the taller Shirou. However, maybe it was her curiosity or sense of adventure; she soon was helping Shirou on his case and developed a friendly rivalry with the detective cases.

Belle's rivalry switches to a crush when Belle is saved from a small demonstration from the Silver Wolf Order. While on her school's campus, Belle would run into some members of the Silver Wolf Order who were collecting people for their order. While watching a younger beastman getting a talk from the order, Belle cut them off and said that Ginrou respects all beastmen and doesn't need a crazy cult order spreading his ideology. This incident was something considered blasphemy as the older members began to harass Belle. Belle would, in turn, do the same by calling the order a cult that feeds on the fear of humans attacking beastmen, something that Belle had learned and seeing the fear from her parents over their order. As the conversation heated, an order member would throw a book at her and yell for her to read a book and get knowledge. Though Belle was smacked with the heavy book, she didn't falter, although Shirou had run up at that point and helped her with balance. Though she wanted to do the same back, Shirou would start walking her away from the situation. Belle would be mad originally, but Shirou would tell her to save her fight for another day as he took her to the Beastman Co-Op. While there, Melissa would bandage her up as Shirou relayed what happened to Gem. Melissa would say Belle was brave and would shower her with compliments, while Gem and Shirou seemed to believe she should have ignored it. However, after being bandaged up and Melissa giving Shirou and Belle some alone time by taking Gem away, Shirou would say that she needs to be careful as the order is dangerous. However, Belle would comment that Ginrou would never have allowed those people to be like that, something that would make Shirou seem surprised.
