Maura comes from a rich family from the Kanto region, in which the tradition of training pokemon is quite strong. From childhood, she was inculcated in knowledge about training pokemon and sent to school Pokemon Tech. The girl, however, did not want to study there. She was fed up with the rules, rules and traditions imposed on her. So one day she ran away from school to start training as a pokemon trainer on her own. She did not want to sit within the walls of the school, only to travel around Kanto and get badges, which she also succeeded.
