Is it really the monsters making war?
As she appeared, the ravens flew over her. They surrounded her as the master turned her head to face the shadows. They were protecting her and they were her as she was them.

She is a bit insecure with her true form, a raven monster, but will convert to it as a means for keeping her power. She isn't actually power hungry, but she always needs to be somewhere on top and if that seems threatened, she will do all she can to stop it.
But underneath all of this, there is a lost soul; a girl inside who has been scarred by the horrors of the world.
