Softheart is a kind, friendly pony with a few different designs and AUs! Many of her AUs are being reworked since I stopped connecting with them as much, but she is extremely versitile and has been used in many ways! She is usually a librarian, but in her main universe (Friendship is Magic), Softheart specifically works at Canterlot Library, where she meets and begins dating Princess Celestia. The two of them have a (low activity) askblog (ask-tia-and-softie on tumblr) and are in a limbo state of engagement currently as I haven't had the motivation to organize the wedding lol. They're my most developed selfship, starting in 2018, and they're very special to me!
As a sona who's closest to my personality irl, I prefer to leave Softheart with a vague backstory and indistinct family (it does not mirror my own since I have a sibling). She is an only child and had a good relationship with her parents, moving to Canterlot once she got old enough and working in some smaller bookstores before she got a job at their main library. She loves her work at the library a lot! Her cutie mark represents the highs and lows of empathy, as she is very empathetic and has had struggles in the past with her emotions being too heavily impacted by others. But it also helps her be a good friend!
Familyverse
The familyverse is still set in FIM and Softheart is still a Canterlot librarian but she befriends Spring Step, a filly who hangs out at the library often after school. Spring Step's parents become closer to Softheart over time due to their daughter, and Spring Step's mother, Butterfly Kisses, develops feelings for Softheart and vice versa. (Bluster Storm may be added again once I properly develop her)
Goddessverse
In the goddessverse, Softheart is a librarian who specializes in older texts and travels to a slightly remote town in the mountains to study and restore some manuscripts there. During an evening exploration of the forested areas around the town, she gets lost in the twilight and discovers a large pond where she encounters Moonlight Rush, a lunar water goddess. The two become friends and slowly fall in love during the course of Softheart's stay in the town.
- She got a haircut when I did and I like the look a lot even though mine has grown back out
- I used to be bisexual but am not anymore, so Softheart has some older art w/ the bi flag
- Her stud earrings and her eyes are the same color
- She has been shipped with Songbird Serenade in the past so has some older art w/ her
- Her colors were inspired by G3 Sapphire Shores (and my irl teal hair)
