Digue

Pokemon mystery dungeon bab! <3 my absolute son omg 💕💕 in a rescue team with Eros and Peck. He's kind of the baby bro of the team but he grows stronger and stronger over time, he's starting to pull off his weight and take good strategical decisions! Even if Eros does most of the leading, he can rely on Digue for good advice and input. Sometimes he helps him by giving a second opinion on strategies, and he definitely can step in and fight in a pinch. In the team, he's kind of more a middle ground between Eros and Peck, he can be pretty strong and he's level headed. 

Digue is a very anxious deino, esp socially anxious. He’s lived in a crystal cave for all his life so the outside world still makes him a bit stressed, he keeps some bits of crystal from his native cave as a memento. 

He’s always been wanting to become an adventurer, he likes fighting and thinks it would be nice to explore cool places on is own. He’s realized it’s not a very credible goal though, at least not when he’s this inexperienced. He’s decided to leave his cave and came to a town where a rescue guild is located, also offering out the occasional adventuring jobs. He’s new to the area and doesn’t know anybody. He’s been too shy to apply even if it interested him, that is until he met Eros and Peck. Eros, being your typical wise mom friend kinda buddy, convinced him to try with them to be a rescue team and so they did. Peck and him didn’t work well together at first at all, since she’s quick tempered and slow to let people in, and being an anxious mess he was certain she hates him and that he was doing an horrible job. They learn to become better friends though, and they make a wonderful junior rescue team!

Turns out rescuing is pretty good exposure therapy for social anxiety when you have to work with people and communicate with the people you’re rescuing. He’s become more and more confident and able to stand for himself, turning into more of his raw personality, a goofy, stubborn, loud lil’ deino. He’s still kinda shy and distant at first, but that’s just how he is, one introverted good boi with limited spoons. He'll always be a bit fidgety. 

He almost never brings his precious crystal bits with him in dungeons since the thought of losing them stresses him out a lot. He’s kinda clumsy too since his fur cover his eyes. Reading deino’s pokedex entries, they’re chewing menaces so he’d def be a fan of chewing on rocks and other stuff he can find, he could hoard gravelrocks omg,, While he's a fan of rocks in general he isn't very cultured about the kinds of rocks there are like a hardcore geo fan might be. Beyond general prettyness, the amount of shine and the emotional investment there may be present (like with the kind of rocks present in his native cave), how nice it is to chew also count into the rock's final grade on his 'I love this rock' scale
