James was raised in a pure Japanese family where his parents moved away from Japan because of a job promotion. Although his parents are lenient on James, he always thinks he can become better.But he took it so far that it seems to have become a sickness of some sort. Even his parents are now scared of him.
Motivational . Restless . Obsessive
James has aimed to become the best in school and every single thing he does to be a leader. He will try his best to be number one and anything that prevents him from doing so will go under a questionnaire. He becomes hyperfocused on it so that he can surpass it and reach his ultimate goal (hint at Knive).

I.
School.
James is a well-known exceptional student at their high school. He is the senior class' president as well as the school council president. He likes trying to put everything in order and everyone to be engaged in events and social events. Other than Knive having the top scores, he is the best of the best.

II.
Liam and Knive.
After an unknown incident, James found out that Liam and Knive have suddenly become oddly close to one another. Liam explains to James it's nothing out of the norm and he can finally be comfortable with someone else. But James found it very fishy for this to happen so suddenly and think Knive is plotting to take him down. So he pesters Knive to make sure he isn't trying to mentally abuse Liam to give away secrets.
James is also aware of how sensitive Liam is and wants to protect his best friend in any way possible. He starts to harass Knive even more to stop trying to use Liam as leverage.
As for his view on Knive, he is seen as an absolute threat to James. Firstly, he is thriving in his classes and doing exceptionally better than James who has a reputation to keep. Secondly, they both are black belts in tea Kwon do and often lose. He even dared to take his best friend from him, he just wants to know his plans..
