Nazar is a reserved Khajiit, never opening up too much to people he knows he won’t hang around with for long. His history of abandonment has tinted his views in a way that he believes no one will actually stick around for long, so he makes sure that he doesn’t get attached. His detachment to relationships can make it hard for one to get close to the Senche-Raht and to get him to be open about his opinions and life.

Several women and men in the streets of Senchal, poor and homeless, took him on for a while- thinking it could be advantageous to have a cub and pretend to be a lonesome parent but the cost of keeping a cub fed and satisfied ran them all dry and they abandoned him once more. When Nazar turned old enough to realise what was going to happen- upset with his living situation- he ran away from the couple that had been using him then and moved to live underneath the docks. His life consisted of begging for scraps, hunting for mudcrabs and swimming for what limited fish he could find. This more often than not resulted in him being injured by slaughterfish in turn.

He hid aboard a boat and joined the crew when he was caught, only to be dropped when he grew too big. Seeing nowhere else to go, he decided to travel back to Elsweyr. When he was caught by Captain Takanradh he was offered to join the Guard due to his survivability and sheer size. Nazar took this happily, wanting a better life for himself.

Living as a guard has resulted in his personality to be even more closed off than it would have been, figuring that there was no space for feelings and opinions in such a heavily respected and meaningful job. Because of it it’s hard for him to bond with others, though he does try in his own way.
