A celebration broke out in the freedom of the newly welcomed species, the octoling race. After the deepsea facility began to collapse and be swallowed by the sea, the ruins began to lose its connections between the metro's station, each one falling apart with some still stable enough to operate. A few years pass as the world accepted the new kind of "Fresh" and drowned themselves in new pop-culture. As the others on the surface begin to ease down from the massive fight that marked era 3, an unknown presence awoken within the sea metro's depths.

     Awaken from the disturbance, our subject struggles and breaks free from attachments around his body, falling on the floor as he begins to regain his strength and composure. The mutant stands up slowly, stumbling a bit before he’s able to properly balance himself as he takes a long look at some shattered glass with the unknown world around him beginning to shake and crumble. He runs at the door and turns the knob, nothing, it’s locked. He lets go, looking around as he finds a rusty old heavy splatling and grabs a hold of it. He gives a good swing and opens an exit for himself, dashing off into an empty crumbling hallway. [Continue]
