Personality
⇀ Description
Salem is a very calm and collected girl, using her free time to practice more magic and further grow her skills. She has some insecurities about her body and usually has a hard time with accepting compliments about herself, though they are always appreciated and make her feel better about herself every time. Usually when she is out and about she has more of a resting bitch face, which is far from her actual personality since she loves being helpful and a more happy person who just wants to actually feel better about herself and usually tries out different things that she looks up and uses a lot of weird tricks to relieve stress, which she knows isn't really a...real thing, but she still believes in them and uses them all the time. She also buys "Stress relief" tea and lotions just because the thought of them calming her stress is a nice idea.
She tries to think more positive about certain things that others might, but sometimes it is easy to tell that she doesn't exactly believe what she is trying to tell others. Salem seems to take in other's emotions a little better than they do at times, so it is not uncommon for her to break down into tears over something sad that might have happened to a friend, or get angry when they are ranting to her about something that someone did. She can sometimes even tell a person's emotions even if they do not show it, though she doesn't exactly say much about it just in case there was a real reason the person was hiding their emotions...though she really does just want to help them.
Salem is not really known to be a angry person, not taking to let her emotions get too out of hand. If anything, she will just go and more likely get stressed than anything, which is why she buys a lot of "Stress relief" items so that she can get rid of that stress, though it usually stays with her and effects her mood for a week or so before she can finally get over it. That is the one strange thing about her stress, she never becomes angry with a person because of it.

Wolfgang Amadeus Smith - Half Brother (Alive): Salem and Wolfgang didn't exactly know about each other as Salem was born after their parents had split up, his mother taking him and their father going off and having her with another woman. It took years for the two to meet, when Salem was well into her teens, and they became close and were very happy with the other. Wolfgang was the first person Salem told about her wish to transition, and he has been supporting her as much as he could. Salem trusts him with a lot of her secrets, and always wants her brother to be happy.
Ludwig Cein Abram - Father (Alive): Salem and her father are very close, and while she loves and trusts Wolfgang with a lot of her secrets, her father knows everything. While he was the second to about her wishes to transition he supported her and has been there with Wolfgang to help her out with whatever she needs. They love each other a lot, and Salem still lives with her father and he is her safe haven.
Veronica Wic Judge-Abram - Mother (Deceased): Salem and her mother had a sort of strained relationship after she decided to search for her older brother when her mother was so against it. Salem tried her best to stay on her mother's good side, but always felt weighed down by not only the other's magical skills, but her hatred for her father's first wife and son. When her mother died Salem did not grieve, did not show up to the funeral, and did not accept condolences. Her mother had not been great to her for so many years, but of course she had not wished death upon her. Salem still feels her mother's weight on her chest as everyone seems to want her to be like the late Veronica.

- Salem had never really felt comfortable in her body ever since she was around 10, never liking it when she had to wear pants or more boyish shirts.
- She never cared about what people said to her about her mother after the woman had died, but whenever the topic of the other's magic came up she always felt...like she wasn't enough.
