   ▸ Information: 
    Agathoans are similar beings to that of dragons, rumored to have been sent down from the heavens by the Gods themselves as guardians of a certain royal bloodline in a far off kingdom that has long since vanished. Embedded in their chests are crystals that for whomever attunes themselves to it, the Agathoan becomes their life-long partner and guardian bound by mind, heart and soul.
They are capable of taking on a dragon form, but only do so when it is greatly needed, they are primarily in a human form otherwise.

   ▸ Information: A fabled blade amongst Agathoans, used to protect whomever they are bound to. It does not seem to have any unique abilities.

   ▸ Information: All agathoans have a large dragon form. Eltrio's specifically is a red-scaled dragon with long forearms that have webbed fingers extending into wings, along with fur-like hair that goes from the top of his head, and down the spine and on the end of his tail. Using this form is incredibly tiresome and it can only last an hour for gentle flying when travelling, and during strenuous activities like fighting, it lasts even less, 30 minutes at best. Afterwards Eltrio has to find somewhere to rest.

Combat:
Because Eltrio primarily takes on a humanoid form, he wears protective armor and fights using his sword.
He can fight in his dragon form but because it is so physically taxing, he only resorts to using it in emergencies and it doesnt last long.

Personality:

• + Protective: It is simply his duty to keep others safe, as Agathoans were basically guardian angels to royalty in the past.
• + Kind-Hearted: Eltrio does his best not to be outwardly mean to others, unless they irritate him greatly.
• + Compassionate: The Agathoan does his best to understand others, even in concepts he's not very familiar with. If anyone wanted a shoulder to cry on, he would do his best to serve that purpose.
• - Stubborn: A bit headstrong and stuck in his ways. If he thinks it's right, he will argue about it often forcing others to try and prove him wrong or validate their statements with a good argument.
• - Irritable: Although he tries his best to get along with everyone, he can be easily irritated by a number of things, especially those with risky or reckless behaviour or that put others in danger.
• - Posessive: Once he finds someone he feels he must protect, he can be clingy and almost possesive of them, trying to shelter them from any possible risks to prevent them from being harmed.

History:
Eltrio was one of the last remaining Agathoans, partnered to the princess of his kingdom when she was young. For years he protected her and served as her personal guardian and companion. Many a time, the handful of Agathoan's would quell growing skermishes on the kingdom's borders or preventing invasion by taking on their dragon form and setting enemy soldiers and their encampents ablaze. Their powerful presence discouraged any and all would-be conquerers and kept their partners, and their kingdom well protected.
Turmoil began in the kingdom as neighboring countries grew envious of the royal family's holy protectors and the power they posessed. Perhaps feeling threatened or simply wanting the Agathoan's dragon powers for their own. Enemy countries allied together to wage war against the kingdom Eltrio served. They laid seige to the Kingdom's cities and it's castle. Specialized assassins breached the castle walls, murdered the royal families and plundered the Agathoans of the powerful crystals embedded in their chests, leaving them to die a slow and agonized death, after they having failed their sole purpose for existence of protecting the kingdom. Others were taken as prisoners.
Eltrio escaped along with another Agathoan. But was plauged by the guilt of failing his princess, his dearest friend, and their kingdom. He hid himself away from the world into solitude and there he fell into a slumber that lasted centuries.
When he awoke, the world had changed and nothing remained of his home. He'd begun to wander aimlessly, giving himself purpose by becoming a wandering knight or some sort of mercenary. He tasked himself with protecting as many lives as possible to make up for his failure in the past.
