Profile
Elmede Arazbija.
The goddess Nefas is heavily associated with oases; as such, her priestesses generally settle around these small bodies of water, and some of her most ancient temples incorporate the oasis water into their structure. Elemede is one such priestess, her temple small yet old beyond words... however, she's a bit unorthodox as far as priestesses go.

HAIRSTYLE: Choppy bangs and floor length hair. Very rarely wears it up.
CLOTHING STYLE: The water patterning of her clothing is typical of priestesses of Nefas. The fabric is unique, and very light and transparent.
PIGMENTATION: Elmede's face is heavily freckled, with several moles beneath her lip, on her nose, and on her forehead.
DESIGN NOTES:
- Horn is an acessory, not part of her body.
- Only her gloves, shawl, and body suit beneath her dress lack the water patterning.
- Tail is long and very animated / indicative of her emotions.
Personality.
Elmede is, frankly, an extremely self centered indiviual. She only cares to protect herself, make money for herself, support herself... it goes against what is expected of her as a priestess, but she does not care. She'd rather spend her day lounging in bed, counting the money she's made.
However, beneath her selfishness is someone who is just... anxious. She always assumes the worst of others, projecting her own insecurities onto them. She can't fathom the idea of someone genuinely trying to be kind to her without expecting something in return.
Aesthetic.
"If you’re not planning on buying anything, I humbly and politely ask you to leave my temple immediately."
History.
Come in, come in! Come and visit the tent of the Prophetess Elmede, which sits before an oasis located within the desert region between Illyria and Paros. Pray before the effigy of the goddess Nefas, and her priestess will deliver unto you a message… by the way, would you like to pay before or after receiving the prophecy? Just for today, there's a special half off deal on divinations; only a few jewels will do! Oh, and by the way, we're having a special promotion on all statuettes of the goddess: buy one, get one free!
Elmede is a priestess of Nefas, an obscure goddess of luck, fortune, and prophecy. Of course, she takes her duties as a priestess very seriously! …As long as it pays. An obsession with acquiring more and more jewels has led this devout follower of Nefas to charge a premium for her prophetic services, though the reliability of her fortunes are undetermined. But there's nothing immoral about it at all, as long as it brings more followers to the great goddess! (Though, you have to wonder… what would this priestess do if she were given a genuine vision from the gods?)
Trivia.
- Tails are fairly rare. The fact that Elmede has an especially long one makes her stand out in crowds.
- Elmede is an orphan, and was raised by other priestesses.
- Her clothing is made with a unique fabric that is only made in Illyria.

FAVOURITES:
Relationships.
LEONIDAS - knight
After he witnessed her having a religious vision, Leonidas declared himself as her eternal knight. Which is like-- fine. It's fine. But he's just... a little bit annoying, is all. So righteous all the time! So concerned about doing the right thing (most of the time, at least...)!! It gets tiring!
NEFAS - goddess
Lady Nefas is the goddess Elmede serves. Some have compared Elme's beauty to that of Nefas herself, but the comparision just seems to irritate the priestess. She doesn't necessarily hate being a priestess under her, but... she doesn't quite love it, either.
