Appearance:

Agnes stands at 5'9", clearly identifiable as a typical elf of the region with long, silver hair (gaining early white strands), lavender skin, and violet eyes. A few pale freckles dot their face. Despite their lean frame and species, they maintain a decent degree of muscle, being able to hold their own against similar combatants.

Description:

A no-nonsense, unassuming individual, Agnes matches the profile of most passing wanderers making a rest stop in Purgatory Ridge. One would be hard-pressed to identify anything especially distinct about the elf after a brief meeting, but that's all the better for Agnes; a detective that can go undercover and unnoticed so effortlessly is a powerful asset.

They're the owner and primary detective of the Noirfolk Detective Agency, a small organization which primarily works alongside Purgatory Ridge's law enforcement (as opposed to private businesses). Being sponsored by the town itself, its interests are undeniably intertwined, leading the agency to not grow far beyond its origins. While a few detectives and employees reach out for permission to do independent work, the majority choose to remain under Agnes' and Sheriff Yaxha's direct delegation. The agency, while regularly utilized, is only called upon for committed or anticipated murders, and most commonly relied upon when organized crime, gangs, or serial criminals are involved. Aspiring morticians have been known to trail alongside the agency's coroners before moving on to proper training.

Agnes owns a somewhat small ranch house and personal stables on the edge of town, where they live with their daughter. The stables are at maximum capacity, housing two dragons and three horses, while small groups of goats and chickens are also kept on the property.

Equipment:

Agnes carries a lever-action, repeating rifle, well-equipped for combat on dragonback and avoiding challenges to one-on-one combat. However, they also carry a concealed pair of knuckledusters for firearm and dragon-free confrontations.

A sleek, mottled gray dragon by the name of "Lazarus," of no distinguishable breed and standing at about 8'2" at the withers, serves as their primary means of transportation. She possesses no breath, but does have opposable claws, including a hind-facing "thumb" on each front leg. The dragon listens to no riders besides Agnes and Pauline, and, while fairly silent and neutral, the scars on her hide from past conflicts illustrate her unwavering resilience and lack of fright.
