[ HISTORY ] 

• • He was once part of a group of five draconic beings - they dedicated themselves to the study of magic and pursuit of knowledge, eventually amassing a number of followers, who in exchange for their teachings, brought them discoveries and new information in return. However their desire for knowledge soon turned to greed and they began manipulating their followers into doing dangerous and deadly things in order to push the boundaries of the known - the fifth member of their group voiced objections to their actions and was promptly driven out. Eventually, humans from empires across the sea made their way to the continent and the four remaining dragons attempted to coerce them into sharing their knowledge with them - when that didn’t pan out, they used force, which eventually resulted in retaliation from the humans and led to their downfall.
  • As the conflict between humans grew closer, East retreated to Arcanum - the floating city that was the heart of the Four and the culmination of all their knowledge and magic. He was killed when Cardinal snuck in and stole the psionic crystal that was powering the city and keeping it aloft -  his body was shattered when the city collapsed on top of him. 
  • It was many years before his body was discovered and harvested - a group of humanoids undertook a ritual and bound their bloodline to the gemstone dragons, bringing them back into the world and harnessing their magic for themselves. East now lives on as a Kalashtar spirit, dedicating his multiple lifetimes to exacting revenge and discovering a way to walk on the material plane once more.
