He worries that the tables would turn on him and he would be left broken and alone as they leave with his heart. Worse though is that he knows he would deserve it. Karma finally coming to take its revenge. But it can never happen if he breaks their hearts first. Sometimes he realises that's really backwards logic but those sort of thoughts just get shoved to the back of his mind. Besides his family is enough for him, he doesn't need a mate, someone who could betray him at any moment.(107)

P8: What annoys this pride member, or acts as a pet peeve? 100 word minimum:Back in Mystic pride Nilesh gets really annoyed when the cubs would get sent to watch the fishers. He hated babysitting the little creatures, especially since more often than not their splashing and yelling scared the fish away. It made his job much harder than it had to be. He understood they had to see glimpses of what all the roles were like and fishing seemed to be the safest with no dangerous prey or getting lost as one might do as they follow the scouts but Nilesh still had to make sure they didnt get swept out to sea. Half the time it seemed they were desperate to go drown as they decided rips look so nice and calm to swim in, honestly it felt like it took years off his life.(133/100)

Unless there is someone he wants to impress watching. The moment that happens Nilesh will throw himself into any competition that shows his skills off to a potential suitor. And if he loses which he often does, he kneels at their feet and ‘begs’ for forgiveness saying he only did it for love. Either way, as long as he ends up with a new plaything by his side he puffs up his chest and feels as if he has won, even if the other pridemate wasn't playing for the same ‘trophy’(116/100)
