He was out hunting one day when he found a vulture chick lying on the ground out in the hot African sun. He watched the parents circling above, knowing the chick had fallen out of the nest by mistake. Instead of eating the chick, he decided to call upon a favor from the vultures in the future instead. He picked the chick up gently and climbed the tree to place it back in its nest. Filled with gratitude, the parents dropped a feather as their token to remind them that they owe him a debt one day.
