After both of them had been trapped inside a twisted killing game together and Haku offered her comfort and his friendship, he ended up betraying her once it was revealed he'd been the one to work alongside the mastermind the entire time, and after he'd killed another friend in common. After the killing game ended, he locked all survivors, including Nona, inside a chamber in order to protect them from the outside world that now hated ultimates. She was trapped for 10 years, during which she continued to remind him of his mistakes until she was finally shot to death by one of his guards.

Leo Kobayashi

Leo was one of the first friends Haku made during the killing game. However, he took advantage of the trust they'd built up and killed him, betraying both him and Nona as he revealed he was the traitor behind everything. Despite how long ago it all happened, the guilt has never abandoned him. Haku still wonders what could have happened if it didn't end up like that.

Rose Couture

Rose... It's hard to describe the bond the two of them had, and the respect and admiration Haku felt towards her. She showed him the ounce of approval and praise he'd been searching for his entire life until then, and he made it his goal to make her proud. Even after she was killed, he took the task of taking her rightful place as a world ruler and continuing "her legacy", never forgetting who he was doing it all for; someone else who'd been hurt by the Ultimate system.
