Growing up Syringe had no proper father figure in his life; his parents divorced when he was too young to remember and his father left soon after. He was the only child so he had no siblings to grow up with, but his cousin Xinny was like his sister, even looking incredibly alike.

His severe anger issues and depression started not long after his father left. It was passed off as being typical toddler behavior, but it never got better with time, seemingly getting worse. He would often act out in school as a kid into teenagehood, resulting in a lot of ISS and detention. His mother wasn't the greatest at discipline - that used to be his father's responsibility.
