Marcus is a reserved young man, in his early 20s, who has lived under his brother Felixshadow for most of his life, set always as the second one of the two.
At an early age he discovered a passion for writing and doodling various plants and animals he found in his garden and through his teen years he dedicated himself to writing books. Within the same period of time his brother also found interest in books and managed to build a reputation amongst various towns and cities with his wonderful writing.
Envious and frustrated, Marcus then abandoned his passion and decided to continue with his studies.
Just as he had become an adult he found himself hidden inside a castle, running from something not even he remembered. He had trapped himself inside a room from various monsters that were lurking inside said castle when he noticed a sword in the middle of the room that started speaking to him.
The sword offered him a way out at an unspecified condition, but taken by the fear of death, he accepted, sealing his hexblade pact.
The pact gave him power but his skin, starting from his left hand, had started to decay. A curse had grown onto him and to get rid of it he had to do something for his Patron.
After nearly two years of silence, and work for a guild, he was finally instructed to find a dagger hidden inside a now destroyed castle but he's not the only one who is seeking for the dagger, his brother is also on the hunt.
