Personality

Though he is still young he acts as if he were an old man. He takes his task of protecting the last Royal extremely seriously and will put her life first, even over his own. He feels extremly sorrowful at the loss of the royal family but even more sorrowful for Isadora, who lost her entire world. He has attached himself to the young princess and attempts to guide her and protect her to the best of his abilities. In truth, Toshi is a lot like a big kitty cat. An old kitty cat...One that watches childish behavior with disdain and minor annoyance. He is wise and carries a great deal of knowledge in that big head of his. He's a very proud individual. Both due to his knowledge as well as his strength and upbringing. He knows his duties and will carry them out until the day he dies. When he has a moment to himself he will usually chose to be lazy, lounge with a book (Or audio book), paint, or expolore the surrounding area. He greatly enjoys being pet or cuddled by his favorite people or people he trusts. He has been known to secretly play a game every now and then when he is in better spirits and believes no one is watching. He adores water, but not rain...(He just likes being the one to choose to be wet.) He has his grumpy moments but all in all he's a great lil (Big) guy.

Bio

Maofuku have always been known to be helpful, doing their best to portray that they are not as creepy or dangerous as their faces or bodies might claim to be. Toshi comes from a hand picked line that was bred specifically for the protection of the Royal family. Toshi was raised with all of the teachings that he'd need to be a perfect guardian. He was chosen for a higher mission however, something with much more weight than the average guardian. One of two maofuku, he was chosen for his absolute skill, knowledge, and strength to be the ultimate guardian. A failsafe, should anything ever happen to the royal family. Times were peaceful back then but the scent of war was on the air. It was forseen that war would come to the land and leave nothing behind but ashes. In responce to this vision of the future the past King had two maofuku warriors chosen and sealed away. Placed within a deep slumber inside of a small chest, the maofuku entered their dangao forms and cuddled up in their masks to sleep for however long it took before they were needed.

Hundreds of years passed and the land changed, the two maofuku left to slumber for well past their time. All family and friends long gone, the two still slept on, oblivious to the war that was starting on the outside of their box. The day finally came when a young princess, shaken and disheveled from the attack on her family and castle....opened the box. Out of several siblings she was the only one to survive. Or...as far as they know. The Demon King Kasdeya has been known to take prisoners...Upon awakening the bond was formed between Toshi and Isadora. A pact of trust made. He would guard her, he would protect her and he would guide her away from the danger. This was his task. Until the day either he or Isadora die. He will serve his Princess and do all he can to ensure she is kept safe and....as happy as possible, considering the situation they are in.
