Sticks

Sticks is a poet and a community organizer. They put together The Sandbar Poetry Society's monthly open mic night at The Cove. Her gentle and quiet disposition was formed by her anxious personality, though you wouldn't be able to tell when she's nervous, unless you knew what to look for... a flick of the ear, tapping of his fingers on his palm, or a cycle of controlled deep breathing.

Sticks' magic manifests when they become emotional, and let those emotions seep into their voice. It transforms their words into a magical blade, physically cutting whatever is in front of them. Their magic is only strong enough to cut wood, and they've used it to whittle carvings and stun audiences while performing their poetry. However, its also become the source of his anxiety, as he's always worried he might hurt someone should he let himself ever truly express how he feels.

Sticks loves plants, hiking, and reading. The flowers and sprouts growing in her fur are from her mother's magic, a little enchantment to remind him that he is loved.
