Dexter is an absolute piece of shit kid who roams the street of ertonpolis whilst being a dick to everyone.
He's a little bitch and is very unlikable.
Dexter's mother begins to dissociate and hear voices (yes cliche) and struggles to keep her sanity (and Dexter) safe.
Except, it was really only a hoax so she could plead reason of insanity to escape her crime for Dexter's abuse. (She'd also convinced Dexter to play along) However in turn, this caused Dexter to develop schizophrenia, and to actually believe he is also experiencing things along side her mother.
By his preteens, Dexter has fully embraced his mental issues, showing his more sadistic values
