Aiyah

The unfortunate protagonist of this story. Since childhood, Aiyah has been haunted by the worst luck imaginable. The likelihood of something occurring in the zero point zero one decimals? Aiyah fears them. No low probability is impossible. She now lives trapped in her own home as a prisoner. Her lifelong streak of poor luck has driven her to the brink of insanity. Fortunately for her, at least she has her extraterrestrial cat companion, Mu, to keep her company.

She is a homebody who works remotely from home as an editor and ghostwriter for books. She claims, "her talent was unlocked at the ripe age of 10 on Voltpad writing unspeakable stories far too great for humanity to lay eyes on. So great that she had to delete them and purge them from her memories to not invoke a great war from creating forbidden knowledge. Oh, they were so great she wishes she could forget them because they keep her awake at night." 

She wears “lucky” trinkets and items on her persons to stave away bad luck:

• Has stuck two four leaf clovers in her hair
• Has a horseshoe in one pocket and a wishbone in another
• Has a (fake) jade band around her left leg
• Rabbit slippers as a substitute for a “rabbit's foot”

• Has a white horseshoe around their neck (a gift from Aiyah)
• Two antennas on their head
• Two tails
• Three eyes, the third eye on their forehead is always closed
• Has mastered the art of liquid state. If you try to pick them up, they will elongate and slither away

Trivia:

• She has the eyes of someone who's seen too much. Please keep the iris and pupil part of her eyes as thin lines or beady
• She's around 155 cm/ 5'1" in height
• Her bow is forever droopy no matter what she does. It probably reflects her disastrous inner state
• Her inner voice is only capable of saying 'AAAAAAAAAAA'. Debatably worse than tinnitus 
• Extremely prone to injury because of her natural clumsiness and her evil entity house
• Somehow still alive and lives independently despite being a hot mess
• Has crippling social anxiety 
• Won't admit it but is kind of a degenerate
  • Sees hot guy/girl/person? Will unironically start barking 
• Insane. Will attempt the same thing many times and expect a different outcome
• Has a weird sense of fashion but comfort > aesthetic
  • Will wear shirts with shitty AI generated inspirational quotes
• Her hair is turning white due to stress (I know it should be white from roots to tips but shhhh anime logic)
• Very pale from lack of sunlight. Most likely suffering from vitamin D deficiency
