Ruby was born in France to a poor family. Her birth was undocumented and she was kept inside the house for all of her very young childhood. Looking back, she can't remember much, but from what she can remember, she recalls being part of some unsavory/immoral affairs and faint memories of her messy room and the blood that ended up on her hands.
She was brought to America shortly after being taken into custody for a reason she can't recall too much of. Through therapy she's forgot most of the bad memories in her life, supressing it for the most part. Rarely will she freeze as something reminds her of a lost memory. But even that memory will fade again over time.
She went through Foster care and eventually was adopted into the Vince family a year later at the age of 12. She grew up mainly with Destiny, the sister she's pretty much attached to at the hip. Throughout the years Rubys learned her passion in reading/writting, and joined the Track and Swim team to stay active and meet new people. She isn't a competitive person, but she loved to help her team win to see them smile.

- Original name is Jewel; one of her main triggers.
- Had a twin brother named Rudy, which is how she chose her name, but she's forgetten him through her therapy.
- Was put through trial therapy, including electric shock, to mask her old memories.
- Only enjoys soups and softs foods due to the damage done to her internal organs from her time in France.
Relationships
Adopted Sister. Destiny was the one to ask Derek "Can we keep her." Destiny and Ruby have been attached at the hip since she's been with the family and they rely on each other for emotional support. Destiny has protected Ruby multiple times as the girl doesn't sense danger as much as the average person.
Rubys current lover. Meeting in Highschool the two had their ups and downs, but have been through so much together. Ruby finds comfort in Charlies diffrences and tries to be the best she can for him. A supportive and loving boyfriend, Charlie is always rooting for Ruby and her dreams.
Rain and Ruby met on the track team in highschool. Ruby has always saw Rain as someone to look up to. Shes helped guide Ruby in the sport and took care of her socially in school while she was there. Rain looks at Ruby both as someone to take under her wig and also competition. Even though Ruby has yet to beat Rain in any track race.
