Profile

Named after myself (my middle name), Ashcraft is my primary fursona, my mascot/brand, and with the exception of some distinct differences is simply a professional and artistic representation of myself in beastly form.

Name: Ashcraft Starborne
Gender: Male (trans, female to male)
Species: At most specific and convoluted, Ash is a zombified Kludde/Werewolf, Muntjac Deer, Unicorn Soft-mount Taxidermy Skullbeaste Shapeshifter Monster. Shorten this however you please, but what I find suits me best is typically an Undead Taxidermy Skullbeaste.
Inspiration: Kludde | Baphomet | Armored Skeptic | The Green Ribbon | The Legend of Sleepy Hollow | Bloody Bones and Rawhead | Taxidermy | Hellhounds | Kludde | Demons and Monsters in General | Zombies | Vampires | Werewolves | Goats | Blackbirds | Chimera | Yokai | Golems/Familiars | Snakes | Gothic Style

Origin Story:
Ashcraft Starborne was brought to life when a witch performed a ritual sacrifice to craft a golem-like familiar. Ash was given form through the use of the stuffed taxidermy body of a Kludde Chimera that bore the skull of a Muntjac deer, the neck and body of a Kludde (including the wings, which he usually doesn’t wear because they are useless to him), the legs of a satyr, the eyes of three separate goats, and the tail of a unicorn. Because the Kludde was the primary part of his form, Ash’s witch needed to preform a blood magick ritualistic sacrifice that specifically involved the burning of a witch/wizard corpse.

Magick:
Ash has been both blessed and cursed by his form.

  • Because he is a familiar/golem, he reverts to his dead, taxidermy form if he ventures too far from his witch (or more oftentimes, when his witch ventures too far from him). Since he is soft-mounted, without consciousness he's effectively a taxidermy stuffed animal.
  • Ashcraft has the ability to sew body parts to himself and make them into a part of his body that he can actually control and use within limited capacity. For example, he has a large set of wings, but because he's too heavy to fly he can control them by not fly with them. If he sewed on another arm, however, it would act just like if he had a fully functional third arm.
  • Ash can sculpt masks interlaced with his magick. He can replace his skull "mask"/head with these masks to completely transform his whole body. When he lifts or removes his original Muntjac skull, his satyr/humanoid form is revealed.
  • Can see into alternate timelines and dimensions via his third eye.

Forms:
Ashcraft has the natural ability to shapeshift to a limited number of forms based on the magickal energy that went into his creation. All of his organic forms are listed in order from true form, which is his default state (effectively what he'd look like if he weren't a shapeshifter), down to secondary forms which are his most common shifted forms, almost more common than his regular form. Then it goes down to tertiary forms which still are organic to him, but not his favorites/regularly used forms despite this luxury. The rest of his forms require a special, magickally-sculpted mask in order for him to take said form.
