Kenny is a 21 yr old university student; her major is physical education because she wanted to pursue a career in professional cross country running. Growing up, her parents put her into sports after noticing she liked to be active- she excelled in ballet and gymnastics so she did mostly that growing up; she enjoyed it, enjoyed having someone to work towards and do everyday. Ballet was her favorite because it made her feel like she was a fairy from a movie- she liked that. In high school, she fell out of doing ballet and joined her school’s track team- her parents divorced at around this time, something that let her have a lot of alone time herself.
Time she spent training with her team mates and at school, mostly; She really enjoyed the day to day of their team; she felt like they were her family. Personally, Kendall is a quiet, reserved girl. The affair of her family’s divorce had her pulling into herself; reserving her words for only her friends and teammates. She finds it hard to rely on anyone on a personal level. She’s friendly enough, though- she can hold a conversation like any other person and isn’t especially shy. She’s a pretty run of the mill normal girl. She just doesn’t get emotionally involved easily.
On the day that the apocalypse happened, Kenny was at her university’s track, running like she would have been any day, listening to a podcast about true crime. When she noticed people scrambling and running, she packed up her things and and just ran. It’s all she really knows, honestly
