Blu / B.I.R.D.

Blu is a tiny android Chimereon created by Emett's father; their specific model is a mass-produced type of drone called B.I.R.D., or Broadcasting Information & Resource Droid. The company is known for using these creatures as helpful delivery and information retrieval tools, collecting user data in a cloud-like online server called The Nest. While originally used for pharmaceutical data, their use expanded to learn more about customers, who often willingly talk about themselves to the friendly, cute-faced robot.

Blu themself was given to Emett as a parting gift of sorts when Emett quit his father's company and went off to be a reporter. At first Emett refused, not wanting to have any ties back to his father or the company, wanting to instead be fully self-sufficient, but the B.I.R.D. was difficult to ignore, and harder still to leave behind. Emett named them Blu, for which Nimbus teases him as being uncreative, but the little robot adores the name.

Despite being an android with pre-programmed artificial intelligence, Blu seems to get along quite well with other Chimereons, electing to perch on their shoulders or head when not hanging around Emett. They seem to have a very healthy thirst for knowledge, and love learning about new subjects, soaking up information like a sponge. Strangely enough, Ozymandias doesn't seem to like Blu at all, for reasons difficult to decipher.
