General Personality

At first glance, Gramal comes across as an extremely threatening, mean-looking guy. He has an incredible case of ‘resting death glare,’ with a seemingly permanent frown and furrowed brow. With his wildly unkempt hair and typically grungy attire, he looks like a nasty punk or a dangerous delinquent, and his generally tense posture and tendency towards silence don’t help his case very much. However, the truth is that Gramal is just desperately socially awkward. He doesn’t know how to talk to people, and he gets rather uncomfortable when forced to be part of larger groups or crowds, preferring to be alone. He enjoys crochet and taking care of small animals, very passive and solitary activities that take place in general silence, and his personality is generally rather inert. Unless he’s acted upon by some sort of outside force, he will keep to himself and remain in peaceable silence. Still, despite being a quiet loner, he is anything BUT timid or weak in confrontational situations. If there’s another strong personality in the room that tries to exert power or authority over him, he makes it very clear that he has no intention of bowing down to them. He’s DEFINITELY averse to being told what to do by self-appointed authority figures, and believes that just because someone's big and strong doesn't mean that they deserve his compliance or respect. His only real, grave weakness is his tenderness towards the weak and the small, which is damn near pathological. He might scowl and stand tall in the face of a strong man who tells him to bow down, but if someone small, soft and delicate asks him to do it? He’s almost certain to comply. Gramal is gentle and loyal towards loved ones, going to extremes that border on servitude for the sake of accommodating their wants and needs, but he is also incredibly protective and possessive, and this protectiveness can sometimes become something unhealthy, constrictive, and suffocating.

 Positive Character Traits

► INCREDIBLY loyal and devoted as a friend, family member, and lover.
► Really good with animals and children. He may LOOK scary, but he’s really very gentle, careful and affectionate with little creatures.
► Remarkably dexterous, gifted with crochet and braiding and pretty much anything that requires articulate, gentle fingers.

 Negative Character Traits

► Not well spoken AT ALL. He tends to mumble and slur his words, which makes him hard enough to understand anyway, but he also has a hard time articulating his thoughts and feelings and can often say things that sound off-puttingly awkward.
► His protectiveness can tend towards OVER protection, and he’s liable to make people feel insulted and infantalized when he does things for them or ‘protects’ them from things.
► Deals poorly with authority figures. He's very much a loner, so when someone that he doesn't respect tries to tell him what to do, he bristles and gets aggressive.
