She's carries around a deep grief and pain that's made her colder to the world around her. She lacks kindness and warmth, survival for her and her group always being her top priority. She's grown more distant over the years, and directly hateful towards her enemies. She is overly protective of her group, and she doesn't show them anything she perceives as a weakness.
