Vinny - musk deer

He isn't very confident with himself and often hides away from others. 

If he's not hiding away in his room, he's taking a walk through the woods and nature, more often than not taking alternative routes to avoid people. Therefore, he often has leaves and twigs sticking out of his fur.

It really doesn't help his shy nature that he has the ability to see ghosts. Gladly, he can't talk or interact with them, as seeing them is already unnerving enough.
