- aevis is first introduced as a robot

- however, she isnt actually a robot. she is a possessed doll of the professor who designed and recreated his dead daughter, maevis.

- aevis as a human girl named maevis/mae lived to about 16-18, when she died from an uncurable disease (say something like learning u have stage 4 lung/blood cancer and dying quickly). she was a very fragile baby/child as was  her mom who died during child birth. she mostly lived secluded in a large mansion in a forest outside the city and lived fairly isolated, having very few friends and mainly focusing on helping her father with his science research and housework. she was very interested to tending the garden, visiting the city though it overwhelmed her ,while alive her greatest dream was to start a family and be the mom she could never be

- while rothwell had some issues mourning his wife he never held this against maevis and spent a lot of time with her, homeschooling her, though he was oveprotective and kinda fucked up isolating her

- while alive maevis had autism which caused her fairly socially anxious and have intense interests, sensory issues, etc. because she was isolated this really didnt help her social fears because she was mostly friends with like 1 person her age ( a boy she met at the market) and the mansions maids (mae grew up hella rich, like this professor is one of the kings top bitches) she is still autistic after death but like, it doesnt nearly impact her as much physically (sensory issues r no more, but she still struggles with social interaction). i may add her father also probably is autistic  to some degree

- the professor was distraught enough to try to bring her back from the dead because he had dabbling in trying to do it before with mae's mother, so with a combination of a vessel of a ball joint doll he designed himself to host her body. it took about 10-20 years to perfect the aevis project. after he died he decided to drop the m dont ask me why fuck u letter m...

- maevis died fairly young, but she is designed as a bit older than when she died because the professor/her dad (rothwell) mourned the woman she wanted to become ( a mom, his apprentice to continue inventing and researching, etc)

- aevis has no memory of being alive in her first introduction, but she retains many personality traits and slowly recovers past interests. she never fully remembers being alive but she does experience deju vu with certain situations and learns a lot from a diary she raids from her father 

- aevis' has stunted emotional/social capabilities and other things upon coming back to life, but she can feel nearly every basic emotion. her emotional troubles come from her soul being held hostage/vacant and due to just like...being unalive? idk how 2 explain it roll with me PLS

- her body was designed to be an ultimate weapon since the professor found a way to transfer souls and reanimate them, so although she was destructable there were many different vessels for her body, all unique and hand crafted. he really wanted maevis to become a professor as a child to help fight the feral monster demon  problem growing around the city so she is  very strong despite being built as a fairly small woman since he made her to recover his idealised version of his daughter. he wanted to like, elevate her above humanity? her main specialities are magic (specifically fire)  with basic healing capabilities, she is also skilled with lances. however her body is very fragile so she does best using long rage beam attacks

- aevis has never left her place of birth, senphis, until nikolas and owen come along (alive or dead)

- aevis stands 5'5 or 165 cm

- aevis ball joint doll body has NO titties...however her chest is curvedgiving  her the appearance of a bigger chest

- aevis is vaguely religious, as is her father (though he becomes atheist after mae dies), she prides herself being a result of a goddess' miracle but after she learns of her past she struggles with her faith. one of the main elements of the faith is being able to reincarnate through several lives before chilling for eternity with the goddess so fears she is an abomination and cursed to never chill with the godess 

- eventually aevis meets nik and owen when they travel to senphis while trying to find a guild place and she thinks theyre cool because they helped her and the professor fight

- aevis only finds out her dad has Some Issues and Problems after she founds out her dad had some bodies in the basement to find her dad making more coz he has to roll with the idea he can make robots (he lied about being able to make magic powered humanoids, because necromancy and the like is frowned upon in lustenia but robots would be a cool way to get money. basically he had pure intentions with mae at the beginning, but loneliness warped him and he became a whacky morally grey, not so morally grey later mad scientist)

- upon finding out aevis freaks out and is like catatonic for a while because she learned she is a dead daughter turned into a weapon and also her dad is a mad scientist serial killer and that boy (now man) she was kinda friends with alive is dead in her dads basement and being turned into a doll

- basically after dissassociating for 3 days she decides to tell nikolas and his pals she recently had been growing closer with over the past month and theyre like wtf and go expose him and bring aevis along their travels

-aevis befriends edith and despite their generational differences they get along very well

- as aevis travels with her pals she slowly becomes more confident and emotional 

- aevis is bisexual

- aevis was a cis woman alive, post death she doesnt have a strong concept of gender and personally does not care how she is percieved genderwise. she feels disconnected to women (men too, humanity in general at this point) so aevis goes by they/she /whatever bro

- aevis prefers to hide her bj body with baggy clothes, speficially long robes

- her hair can be drawn peach pink - peach orangeish
