BIOGRAPHY

Gill was once a bright and passionate apprentice scientist that worked under the tutelage of Dr. W.D. Gaster himself, who he saw as a father figure and the only person he considered family. After an experiment gone wrong, Gaster was scattered into the void, and Gill was left with nothing but determination to rescue his mentor and friend. After years of research, testing and experiments, he was finally ready to venture into the void himself in an attempt to find Gaster and bring him back. However, his ignorance and inexperience nearly cost him his life as he was almost lost to void himself.

Barely making it out of the void alive, his narrow escape left him damaged, scarred and always feeling cold but also gave him new abilities to control the void goop that makes up his body. His soul, however, became corrupted and unstable, making it difficult to hold himself together at times, reducing him a vulnerable void blob if he gets too stressed or overuses his abilities.

After the incident, he stayed in the observatory that he once shared with Gaster and renounced science all together. He's lived in solitude for many years before meeting a stranger that would change his life forever.

Spoiler alert, the stranger is Del.

PERSONALITY

Gill is very reserved and broody and doesn't take too kindly to strangers. Before meeting Delusion, he took solace in being alone. Del is now the only person he trusts and finds comfort in being around.

Though once a brilliant scientist working under Dr. W.D. Gaster's mentorship, he has long renounced the practice following the aftermath of a tragic incident that permanently mutated him. Though he represses it, he still holds a deep love for science and discovery, and sometimes can't help himself when he encounters something interesting. He usually spends most of his time reading, sleeping and drinking hot sauce in a fruitless attempt to stay warm. His favorite place to relax is by the fireplace.
