Pumpkinheart was born and raised in RiverClan, before falling in love with a rogue tom, Splotch, and having three kits, Minnow, Turtle, and Kalimara. The current clan leader threw her out. One day, she was teaching her kits how to swim in the shallows of a large river, and Minnow got swept away. She returned back to her makeshift den and didn't come out for three days, little did she know Minnow survived. (I'll write Minnow's story once I get her a page.) Pumpkinheart later returned to her clan, which now had a new leader, and begged to be accepted back into the Clan. The current leader let her, her mate, and her two remaining kits back into the clan, naming them Turtlekit, Softkit, and Splotchdot. Pumpkinheart soon re-earned the respect of her clanmates, and rose to the rank of deputy once the current one died. When Hailstar (the current leader) died, she became Pumpkinstar and made Turtleflight her deputy.
