very narcissistic & impulsive

grew up in southcarolina. her family was extremely religious and had high expections for her (being the oldest of 5 children) and wanted her to be the best role model. for most of her life she was popular at school n well-liked by people in her town.

ran away to california after falling in love with it thru pop culture. mostly hitchhiking, occasionaly public transportation- kinda miraculous she got there safely in retrospect. after getting there she made her living doing odd jobs and squatting/couch surfing. eventually got a stable job waitressing where she fell in love with her future husband- cyril.

as california got more n more expensive they both decided to move back to the east coast (not the south, judith never wanted to return there)- they ended up in vermont when her husband got a job there. neither of them liked it much- it was far too cold for both of them and yet they both stayed there for the rest of their lives.
