Astilbe is a SkyWing firescales who was able to go unnoticed for most of her life. Along with growing up on the outskirts of the kingdom, Astilbe was able to control firescales to an extent, meaning it was only into adolescents when she was discovered. However, when she was found out by SkyWing guards it was decided by Queen Thrush to let her live, not only because it would be difficult to kill her but could be a very useful asset in the future need be.

Astilbe agreed to become a prisoner of the Skywings after she was assured her mother and sister would be safe if she complied. She primary agreed because most likely the Skywings could have taken her prisoner or killed her regardless of if she wanted to comply, and being agreeable would ensure that the dragons she cared about would be safe.

Once she was taken prisoner, she was housed with a variety of different dragons who had all been deemed as dangerous, all from different tribes and varying from frostscales to criminal masterminds, all in a massive stronghold nestled into the claw of the clouds mountains. This place was called (insert name here). The Queens and anyone else trusted by them of the Skywings, Sandwings, SeaWings, and NightWings, with the former being in charge of managing the prison for the most part as it is closest tho Skywing territory. However, the other tribes will send members of their own tribe to work there.

While there Astilbe meets many other dragons who were outcasted, she becomes close friends with some of them (big wip here)

Eventually, Astilbe tires of being held prisoner. No one will inform her of how her family is doing, and she worries more and more that the Skywings may have hurt her mother and sister. Eventually, Astilbe and many of the other dragons break free from the stronghold, with her and her closest new friends grouping up together to find answers to their questions, worries, and goals.

Astilbe travels across Pryrria with her friends, meeting many other dragons along the way. However, many dragons try to take advantage of her deadly firescales and naivety.
