Falling Shards Of Glass

Falling Shards of Glass was built along the coast within the Fracture local group in an area referred to as the Ashen beach. Which is called such due to the black sand caused by the natural of the volcanic rock found throughout this rough and broken region.

Due to the combined factors of the Fractures location as well as the timing of her structure being built, the Ancients were unable to procure/manufacture enough pearls to serve as her memory storage and were only able to source various broken or smaller pearls.

To work around this issue the Ancients quickly got to work, trying to see if there were any uses for the many broken shards of pearls they had to work with. and after a long amount of research and experimentation they managed to find a solution. By melting down the various shards and fragments as well as mixing in other components to stabilize the process the melted shards could be poured into special molds and cooled and heated over time to create a unique crystal lattice that turned out to be even better at storing information then any normal pearls of similar size and scale.

With this new found technology circumventing their resource limitation they quickly got back to building Shards structure, designing it to work around the pearl crystals they had made. And after completing her structure they named her Falling Shards of Glass in honor of the challenge they face in her creation.t

Much later after the vanishing of the Ancients Shards structure left to it's own devices began to slowly sink into the sand and the waves of the encroaching beach head. Leaving Shards in a predicament as she tries to find a solution for her current situation, all while other looming threats unique to her local group also weigh on her mind.

Shards herself is rather upbeat compared to most iterators and while not the youngest in her local group she is on the younger side of things. while her situation and state she is in weighs heavy on her, she continues to do her best to try and support those she still has contact with in her local group, although at the same time she can be quick to get frustrated with things and has a tendency to swear in spite of part of her taboos poor attempt to try and censor her.
