Basics
Cas is as serious as serious comes. A workaholic, Cas never knows when to take a break, working until he passes out. It's not so much that he enjoys working, but rather he trusts himself to get a job done the way he likes. Under his more serious outer shell, there's a part of him that longs for something less mundane. His heart longs for a more free life style, but he can't ignore the responsibilities he knows he has. It's probably because of his inner struggles that he comes off cranky most of the time.
He's overall a very average built man, though maybe a bit more thin then he should be. He could stand to take better care of himself. When it comes to dressing himself though, Cas likes having a clean and sharp look. His glasses are a must, not being able to see well with out them, much to his annoyance. He is right handed.

PERSONAL SKILL
While there was a time Cas was part of a guild, and was quite active. It's been years since he's truly stretched his wings. It's clear he's a bit rusty, but his muscle memory is still there thankfully. He prefers not to get too close when fighting, keeping a distance between him and the enemy. If you can manage to close the distance, that's when Cas starts to sweat.

About
Casper Wight was born in Yoria, a town considered neutral grounds, and has a good mix of both sides of the countries. Cas, and one of his friends from childhood, Maiya Hagino, were to be in an arranged marriage decided by their parents. Nether of them wanted this though, wanting to just stay as good friends. As fate would have it though, both their parents perished in an accident together, leaving Cas and Maiya free to break off their engagement. Being thrilled by his new found freedom, Cas decided to join a guild, which ended up being The Red Feather Syndicate.
It was a good time in his life, but yet again tragedy would strike the Wight family. His younger cousins, Charlotte and Bridget became orphans, losing their parents at a young age. Cas being the only family they had left. It was a hard decision, but Cas knew he couldn't raise them while having a life in the guild. He was allowed to leave the guild, and went back home to Yoria.
He now owns a bar in the town, across from the Omura Inn. Charlotte and Bridget help out with cleaning and such, he also hires Devi Novlyn to help bring in customers during less busy hours.
NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 1 & 2
Cas is one of the few people to not only survive, but also make it back to the town. Him, Nikko and Isa are able to reach Sai and Kazuki, resulting in a time reset.
NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 3
Failing time and time again to save Maiya from being sacrificed has taken a toll on Cas over multiple resets. This timeline, his feelings of wanting to protect her are deep, and he decides that they should honor their parents wishes and marry one another. This results in them having a son, Jameson. Their marriage still falls to pieces, the two of them realizing the love they have for each other just isn't romantic.
Relationships
Maiya Hagino
[ friend, (TL3+) ex-wife ]
A friend from his childhood, the two grew up close together, their parents being family friends. The two always had a good relationship with each other, always enjoying the others company. It would seem they would have everything you would need for the perfect romantic relationship, but the two could never quite see each other as such. In TL3 they finally go with their parents wishes and marry, but it doesn't last. The two are still close despite this, to Cas Maiya will always be someone truly important to him. She helps him a lot in life, and keeps him on the right track, a shoulder always there for him.
Xavier Ortega [ friend, love interest ]
The two met in their youth, when Xavier was traveling from town to town. He truly inspired Cas, and sparked his desire to go out and see more of the world as well. When they were younger Cas was star struck by the mercenary, always excited to see Xavier when he came into town. Now that they're older though, Cas grew incredibly self aware of himself, feeling embarrassed by the feelings he has for Xavier. He acts even a bit tsundere now for the man, but deep down is always happy to see him. He tends to scold Xavier for still living the life he does after losing the use of his arm, but really Cas is just immensely worried. The fear of Xavier one day not coming back is always nagging in the back of his mind.
Bridget Wight [ cousin ]
Cas does his best to raise her, but sometimes worries he comes off more as an older brother rather than a father figure. He's incredibly protective of her, she's the youngest after all! And seeing how Bridget has been a bit of a late bloomer, he can't help but worry for the young girls fragile heart. He always worries he's not doing enough for the girls, feeling they deserve so much more than he can give.
Charlotte Wight [ cousin ]
Cas doesn't worry about her as much, as Charlotte is quite mature for her age. But he's still protective for her all the same. He can see a lot of his own serious personality in the girl, so he can't help but worry how she'll handle the world on her own one day. He always worries he's not doing enough for the girls, feeling they deserve so much more than he can give.
Devian "Devi" Novlyn [ employee, little brother figure? ]
Maybe it's just in Cas' blood to help any youth he comes across. But seeing how a young Devi had no where to go, and needed to make money, Cas just couldn't turn away from the maotia. He offers Devi a job at the bar, drawing in customers outside, as well as giving the boy a roof over his head at his own home. Cas has a habit of rambling and ranting when he's drunk, which is often, and Devi turns out to be quite the good listener!
Jameson Wight [ son ]
Jameson is truly a miracle child, never have existing before, until timeline 3. Cas loves his son, feeling pride and happiness at being a father. It breaks his heart to not get to see his son as often as he did at one point in time. But he's always just a few streets down, and Cas makes sure to go out of his way to see his son whenever time allows it. Cas loves doting on Jameson, and can admit that maybe he spoils the boy a bit. The two have a strong and loving relationship.
